Getting started

For some of you blogging may be a new experience, for others it may be something that you do regularly. If you have never done it before there is nothing to fear.
Blogging is most effective when you reflect and offer thoughtful comments on what people have posted. Watch this video on blogging courtesy of commoncraft.

Tips on blogging

BLOGGING GUIDELINES

I will only use first names (and last initial if necessary)
I will not gang up on anyone
I am responsible for anything posted in my name
I will only post links that are relevant to the topic
I will not plagiarise other blogs, but I can quote them
I will try to use ‘correct’ spelling
I will stay on topic
I will only link to appropriate websites
I won’t say anything I wouldn’t say in college
I won’t post personal information about other people or myself,
including photographs
I WILL USE COMMON SENSE

Blogging is all about:

1. sharing thoughts and ideas with like-minded people

2. a means of getting and sharing new ideas and thoughts

3. reflection and feedback

4. provides links to new avenues of discussion - new people - new ideas

5. provides possible avenues for further exploration and for possible assistance when needed.
